Important: Are You a LifeHack App Customer?

This documentation is for LifeHack App customers who have an active account at app.lifehack.org.

If you cannot log in to app.lifehack.org, you are likely looking for a different company with a similar name. This documentation will not apply to your situation.

Welcome to the subscription management guide! We've made it easy for you to take control of your LifeHack Membership directly from your account. Here's everything you need to know about managing your subscription.

Access Your Billing Dashboard

Your billing and subscription management is built right into your LifeHack account for seamless management.

How to Access

  1. From the Web App: Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner and select "Billing & Subscription"
  2. Direct URL: Visit the billing page. If you're not logged in, you'll be prompted to sign in first. If you forgot your password, reset your password here.

What You Can Manage

Your Billing Dashboard includes:

  • View your active subscription plan and pricing
  • See any active discounts and savings
  • Check your next billing date and subscription status

  • View your current payment method (card details)
  • Update payment information through secure Stripe portal
  • Manage default payment settings

  • View your recent invoices and payment history
  • Download receipts for your records
  • Access complete billing history through Stripe portal

  • Upgrade or downgrade your plan
  • Pause your subscription (one-time free month)
  • Apply retention discounts when available
  • Cancel your subscription with guided flow

Step-by-Step Management

Viewing Your Subscription Details

  1. Navigate to your billing dashboard through your profile menu
  2. Review your current plan, pricing, and any active discounts
  3. Check your subscription status and next billing date

Updating Payment Information

  1. Click "Update Payment Method" in the Payment Methods section
  2. This will securely redirect you to Stripe's customer portal
  3. Add, remove, or update your payment methods
  4. Set your preferred default payment method

Managing Your Plan

  1. Click "Manage Plan" to access plan management options
  2. You'll be redirected to the secure Stripe portal
  3. Choose to upgrade, downgrade, or modify your billing cycle
  4. Changes typically take effect at your next billing cycle

Accessing Billing History

  1. View your recent invoices directly on the billing page
  2. Click "View all & download invoices" for complete history
  3. Download receipts and detailed invoices through the Stripe portal

Important Notes

Subscription Changes:

  • Plan upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing
  • Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period
  • Paused subscriptions preserve all your data and can be resumed anytime
